Council on Foundation National Standards 		 

 
Unrestricted Funds

Targets the needs of Barry County without restriction to any organization or field of interest. You may establish a named fund with a donation of $5,000 and add to it at any time. If the value of your fund reaches $25,000, you can choose to convert it to another type of fund, such as a Scholarship or Donor Advised Fund.

BCF Board Unrestricted Fund This fund provides grants for special projects of the Barry Community Foundation, as advised by the donor and approved by the BCF Board of Directors.
BCF Community Wide Grantmaking Fund This fund shall be used for the support of charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes for and by the people of Barry County.
Next Generation Fund To provide charitable support to Barry County, as recommended by the advisory committee of this fund.  The advisory committee is comprised of the donors to the fund, who are primarily 20-something to 40-something years old.

General Unrestricted

Carl Grashuis Family Fund
 The purpose of this fund is for Ann Davis and next generation to make recommendations on distributions from this charitable family fund.
TAEF Board Discretionary Fund
 This fund shall support the administrative costs of the Thornapple Area Enrichment Foundation
