$887 to the Hastings Junior Chamber of Commerce for a program founded by the Light for Life Foundation to create awareness of teen suicide and its prevention. This program included mailing letters to all parents of high school students, distributing cards to all teens and providing information during study halls on how to use the card if you were in a crisis situation. On the first day of distribution, a young man turned his card in to a counselor, seeking help.

Some of these supplies include glasses, class pictures, music lessons, and camp fees.
