Agency Endowment Fund

Create a permanent pool of assets for your nonprofit organization. You can save time by letting the Foundation manage the fund. The income provided by the fund makes nonprofit organizations less dependent on their own future fundraising efforts. Only interest/dividends are released upon request of the organization for which the fund was created. The fund must reach a $10,000 investment level before dollars will be distributed.

Barry Intermediate School District Fund  Established 2/18/2001

This fund shall be used to support the charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes of the Barry Intermediate School District.

Big Brothers/Big Sisters, A Community of Caring, Barry County Fund Established 5/08/2001

This fund shall be used to support the charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters, A Community of Caring for Barry County.

Gerald R. Ford Council Boy Scouts of America Endowment Fund  Established 11/2/2004

This fund was established for the promotion of Boy Scout activities in Barry County.

Girl Scouts of Barry County, Glowing Embers Girl Scout Council Fund  Established 11/23/1998

This fund shall be used to support the charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes of the Glowing Embers Girl Scout Council activities in Barry County.

Green Gables Haven Fund Established 6/16/2000

This is a special project fund created to establish a domestic violence shelter in Barry County.

Habitat for Humanity Barry County Fund  Established 7/1/2004

This fund shall be used to support the charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes of Habitat for Humanity, Barry County.

Leadership Barry County Fund  Established 10/15/2001

This fund shall be used to support the charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes of the Barry County Leadership Program.

Pennock Health Service Fund  Established 5/5/2005

This fund was designed to support the betterment of the Pennock Health Services organization.

Putnam District Library/ Alice Keihl Memorial Endowment Fund Established 4/26/2007

This fund shall be used for the charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes of the Putnam District Library and its affiliated agencies, as determined from time to time by the Barry Community Foundation.

The Barry County Humane Society Animal Awareness Trust of Barry County  Established 4/16/1998

Established to promote, protect and preserve His creatures of this earth, as determined from time to time by an advisory committee and approved by the foundation, the fund may also be used for, but is not limited to, education in the broadest sense of the term, relating to animals.

Thornapple Manor Fund Established 6/21/2000

This fund shall be used for the support of the charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes of Thornapple Manor.

YMCA of Barry County Fund  Established 5/2/1999

This fund shall be used to support the charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes of the YMCA of Barry County.
