Special Project Funds  

Are approved by the BCF’s board of directors in response to community needs.  The funds are not permanent and allow an opportunity for those interested in these special projects to gift through the foundation to the purposes for which the funds were created.

Barry County Natural Resource Action Team-Kellogg Grant Fund   Established  3/10/2004

This fund is to be used for the purpose of increasing awareness, interest and ownership of natural resource issues among Barry County community members and leaders by providing an educational series.

Barry County Special Needs Fund  Established 4/1/2005

This fun was established to support projects for individuals of Barry County with special needs.

Bill Moses Mobility Chair Fund Established 6/30/2002

This fund assists with the purchase of a mobility wheelchair for Bill Moses.

Hastings Public Library Capital Campaign Building Fund   Established  11/27/2004

This fund is to support the building of a new public library facility in Hastings.

Hastings Public Library Special Project Fund Established 11/29/2000

To benefit the Hastings Public Library Capital Campaign.

Orangeville Community Fund Established 1/08/2007

This fund will provide grants for charitable projects in the Orangeville Area.
