The fund shall be used to allow for a program related investment to be made through an application and interview process. The fund assets will be split among selected participants, with no loan over $300. Loans are repaid when livestock sale has been completed.
The fund shall be used for the provision, enhancement and/or maintenance of facilities for use by Barry County Youth at the Barry County Expo Center grounds, as recommended by this Fund’s advisory committee and approved by the Barry Community Foundation.
Barry County United Way & Volunteer Center of Barry County – George Romney Fund. The fund shall be used to support of the Charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes of the Volunteer Center of Barry County, Barry County United Way.
The fund shall be used to support the charitable activities of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Barry County program.
“Reaching Our Community’s Kids with Support”
Our mission is to use our time, talents and treasures collectively to support our kids and to better our community. Our primary focus is increasing mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Our biggest outreach is “We’ve Got Your Back Shack” which is a free to all clothing center.
The fund shall be used for the support of young people who reside in Barry County through scholarships, and/or educational development experiences, and/or leadership training, and/or any other opportunities for leadership development of Barry County Youth.
The fund shall be used to promote Boy Scout activities in Barry County.
The fund shall be used for support of the charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes of the Glowing Embers Girl Scout Council activities in Barry County.
Fund established to support collaborative efforts to bring Group Cares Workcamps into Barry County. Monies to be used as community "match" needed to participate in program. Group Cares is a group of individuals who volunteer their time, expertise and funds to renovate homes for needy owners.
To help provide funding for educational, benevolent, charitable or public purposes within or outside the County of Barry. The focus will be faith based, along with seven elements of a healthy community.
The fund shall be used to raise funds for the benefit of youth in the Maple Valley community, beginning with the designation of monies toward creation of and maintenance for a skate park in the Village of Nashville, and thereafter as the Advisory committee finds appropriate.
The fund shall be used to support the Hastings Public Library through the estate of Paul & Rosellen Siegel.
The fund shall be used for support of the charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes of the Putnam District Library.
The fund shall be used in Barry County rural agricultural field for activities, projects, or programs that promote and continue the agricultural and pioneer heritage of the area. Priority given, but not limited to, Carlton, Woodland, Castleton and Irving Township.
TAEF – Beacon Society, Friends of the Thornapple Kellogg School & Community Library. The fund shall be used to support the Thornapple Kellogg School & Community Library for charitable purposes.
The grants are distributed to organizations which develop youth character and advance values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
The fund shall be used for support of the Thornapple Kellogg School and Community Library, specifically for public purposes (which meets the IRS charitable standards), including, but not limited to, public library collection development and programming.
The fund shall be used to promote protect and preserve His creatures of this earth, as determined from time to time by an advisor committee and approved by the Foundation. May also be used for, but not limited to, education in the broadest sense of the term, relating to animal.
The fund shall be used for supporting the purposes of the First Presbyterian Church of Hastings, with the advice and consent of the Fund’s Advisory Committee. The Fund’s Advisory Committee will consist of the Organization’s Executive Committee.
