A healthy community encourages a wide variety of recreational, historical and cultural opportunities.

Angie Coates McDiarmid Memorial Fund for the Community Music School

This fund shall be used for the Community Music School to use toward the needs of the school, including but not limited to purchases of equipment and subsidizing lessons.

Catherine Peck Roberts Charlton Park Fund

The fund shall be used for the enhancement of Historical preservation, programs and activities in its broadest scope, including but not limited to, acquisitions, renovations and coordination of staff, committees and management of Charlton Park, located in Barry County.

 

Charlton Park Foundation Fund

To Support Historic Charlton Park Village, Museum and Recreation Area.

Delton Kellogg Band to Pearl Harbor (279)

The purpose of the fund is to hold money raised for the DKHS Marching Band trip to Hawaii for the 76th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor Parade.

DKEF – DKHS Fine Arts Scholarship

It is the intention of the Delton Kellogg HS Fine Arts Scholarship Fund to award a scholarship to graduating high school senior from Delton Kellogg Schools who is pursuing a degree in the field of Art.

Gilmore Car Museum Fund

To support Gilmore Car Museum.

Hastings Band Booster Uniform & Equipment Fund

May used to purchase uniforms and equipment for the Hastings Band.

Hastings Summerfest Entertainment Fund

To provide for free entertainment druing the Hastings Summerfest, the biggest festival for Hastings which occurs annually on the last full weekend of August.

HHSSAA Historical Document Project

The fund shall be used to support historical document archival project.

Kathryn Estella Mix Fund for the Community Music School

Louise Ann Stockham Memorial Fund

The fund shall be used to house a collection of Barry County Artists for display in county non-profits, with priority given to Pennock Hospital.

Love of Barry County Donor Advised Fund

To help provide funding for educational, benevolent, charitable or public purposes within or outside the County of Barry.   The focus will be faith based, along with seven elements of a healthy community.

Manger Scene Fund

The fund shall be used as a Special Project Fund that holds donations for the Christmas Manger Scene of the Barry Courthouse Square.

Midwest Miniature Museum

The fund shall be used for the operations and acquisition costs associated with the Midwest Miniature Museum.

TAC – Ethel Denton Groos Memorial Fund for the Thornapple Arts Council

The purpose of the fund is to support residents in the Thornapple area who are involved in the visual and performing arts.

TAC – Sue Drummond Art Education Fund of the Thornapple Arts Council

The fund shall be used to expose children of Barry County to the Arts.  The Arts are defined to include:  visual, music, fiber, literature and performing arts.  Exposure includes doing as well as listening or watching.  No more than 1/2 to scholarships, nor more than 1/4 for 1.

TAEF – Donald & Catherine Williamson Visual and Performing Arts Fund

The purpose of the fund is to support special Barry County projects and programs and through the approval of the Barry Community Foundation’s Board of Directors.

TAEF – Fitzgerald Odyssey of the Mind & Arts Fund

To support Odyssey of the Mind and art enrichment opportunities at Thornapple Kellogg schools through grants.

TAEF – Tad Thatcher Memorial Scholarship Fund

The fund shall be used to assist any TK (grades 9-11) music student attending Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, Interlochen, or summer music session, or traveling with a significant musical organization.  This scholarship is in memory of Tad Thatcher, a 1990 graduate of TK High School.

 

TAEF – Village Players of Middleville Art Scholarship Fund

Purpose of the fund is to support a graduate of or a graduating senior from Thornapple Kellogg Schools who is pursuing a degree in performing arts with a scholarship to an accredited college or university.

Thornapple Arts Council Special Partnership Fund

The fund shall be used to support special projects initiated and managed by the Thornapple Arts Council.

 

Thornapple Players Fund

The fund shall be used to support the activities of the Thornapple Players in providing for cultural experiences for Barry County residents.
