The Barry County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Alliance, and the Barry County Community Foundation have joined forces to raise money to help small businesses during these trying times.

All money collected will go directly to small businesses in the form of grants, through an application process. Please consider donating to save small businesses in Barry County.
Barry County Business & Entrepreneur Development Fund
The fund shall be used to support the business & entrepreneur development to benefit the Barry County Area.
Barry County Career Technical Education Fund
To support CTE programming in Barry County.
Barry County Healthy Economy Fund
The fund shall be used to support the creation of healthy economy that is diverse, vital and innovative, that grows strong businesses and business districts, and creates adequate jobs and income for residents.
Barry County Revolving Loan Fund
The fund shall be used to support the economic vitality of Barry County through mission related investment vehicles.
Delton Area Rotary Club Fund
To support the welfare of Delton and other communities for charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes.
Encouraging Hope Fund
Donor advised fund to support charitable projects, programs and activities in Barry County.

The Fund shall be used for support of the charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes of the Gilmore Car Museum and its affiliated agencies.
Group Cares – Work Camp Fund
Fund established to support collaborative efforts to bring Group Cares Workcamps into Barry County. Monies to be used as community "match" needed to participate in program. Group Cares is a group of individuals who volunteer their time, expertise and funds to renovate homes for needy owners.
Innovation Works Scholarship Fund
The fund shall be used to support inventors and creation of niche items throughout Barry County Area.
Love of Barry County Donor Advised Fund
To help provide funding for educational, benevolent, charitable or public purposes within or outside the County of Barry. The focus will be faith based, along with seven elements of a healthy community.

Donor advised fund to support charitable projects, programs and activities in Barry County.
Route 66 Business Loan Fund
This fund will be a sub fund of the Route 66 Business District Fund. The fund is a “purpose restricted” fund and will only benefit partners in good standing of the Nashville Route 66 Business District.Grants may be made from the fund when the advisory committee of this fund makes a recommendation to and is approved by the Barry Community Foundation Board of Directors. Board meetings occur on the third Thursday of every month; recommendations from this fund will be placed on the consent agenda, then paid right after the meeting. The money contributed to assist small businesses who are suffering during this time will only be allowed to be loaned to the small businesses (50 employees or less) who are partners in good standing of the Nashville Route 66 Business District. As the loans are repaid, the funds shall remain accessible to the Route 66 Business District for future use; however, no funds will be returned to individual donors. Requests to this loan fund will be evaluated by the Impact Investment Fund of the Barry Community Foundation, using the same application being used by for the local SBA loans, and be considered at the same time. The interest rate shall be 0% for 5 yrs with a maximum loan of $5,000. The loan may be used to pay employees, rent, or other ongoing costs that COVID shutdown has made necessary. The Community Foundation has an Impact Investment Fund* with a standing committee: Andy Cove, Edward Jones; Chelsey Foster, Commercial Bank; Mark Kolanowski, Highpoint Community Bank; Fred Jacobs, J-Ad Graphics and BCF; Dave Coleman, retired Insurance Company; Karen Heath, Retired Small Business Owner; Jennifer Heinzman, Barry County Chamber & Economic Alliance and Bonnie Gettys, BCF.
