Caledonia Farmers Elevator Robert Newman Educational Scholarship Fund
Fund Purpose: The Caledonia Farmers Elevator Robert Newman Educational Scholarship Fund was established for the purpose of providing scholarships to students region-wide who are pursuing a career in Agriculture or Agribusiness.
- Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a Michigan resident
- Student must be a graduating senior of a Michigan accredited High School or Home School.
- Must declare a major in Agriculture/Agribusiness
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits each semester
- Must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better
- Strong consideration will be given to applicants who demonstrate their desire to complete this degree, citizenship, community involvement through non-academic or volunteer activities, work related experience or affiliation with Caledonia Farmers Elevator.
Evan Lee Dame Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements:
1. Student must be a graduate or graduating senior of Wayland High School.
2. Student must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
3. Student must have participated in four years of athletics.
4. Student must provide one letter of recommendation from a teacher and one letter of recommendation from a coach.
5. Student must demonstrate community involvement through non-academic school activities, volunteer work, or work experience.
6. Student will be evaluated on essay content.
Viking Group Educational Scholarship
- Student must be a child of a full-time Viking Group, Inc. U.S. employee who has been actively employed with the company at a location outside of West Michigan for at least one year prior to the application deadline date
- Student must be a graduating senior (up to the age of 23 for renewal.)
- Student must be accepted to a 2 or 4 year accredited college, university, or vocational-technical school
- Student must enroll full-time
- Student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Student will be evaluated on essay content
Viking Group West Michigan Scholarship
- Student must be a child of a full-time Viking Group, Inc. U.S. employee who has been actively employed with the company at a West Michigan location for at least one year prior to the application deadline date
- Student must be 23 years of age or younger
- Student must be accepted to a 2 or 4 year accredited college, university, or vocational-technical school
- Student must enroll full-time
- Student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Student will be evaluated on essay content
