Leadership Barry County is a leadership development program that brings local people together to build professional and personal leadership skills, learn about Barry County, and create lasting relationships with other community-minded individuals.
We Build Leaders
Leadership Barry County offers a hands-on learning experience for people who want to grow as leaders.
Participants learn through discussion, local experiences, relationship-building, and conversations with people who serve Barry County in many different ways.

We Empower Graduates
For nearly four decades, Leadership Barry County has built a network of more than 600 program graduates.
Graduates stay connected through ongoing learning, networking, and leadership opportunities throughout West Michigan.

Youth Quest
Leadership Development for High School Students
Youth Quest gives local 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students an opportunity to build leadership skills through team-building, goal setting, cooperation, creative problem-solving, and self-awareness. Students learn about their own leadership styles, work with students from different schools, and gain skills that can help them throughout high school, college, careers, and community life.
The Youth Quest weekend is hosted at the YMCA of Barry County Camp Algonquin with skilled facilitators.
