BCF Community Grant
The BCF Community Grant supports programs and projects that improve the lives of people in Barry County, Michigan. Barry Community Foundation works with nonprofit, educational, and government partners to support positive, sustainable community change.
The Foundation’s grantmaking is strategic while remaining responsive to changing local needs. Projects that align with one or more of the Seven Elements of a Healthy Community receive priority consideration.

Building a More Vibrant Barry County
The BCF Community Grant supports projects that address local needs and contribute to a healthier, stronger community.
Priority is given to programs and projects connected to one or more of these focus areas:
- Arts and culture
- Basic needs
- Economy
- Education
- Environment
- Health and wellness
- Vibrant communities
Applicants should clearly explain the community needs their project addresses, the people it will serve, and the results they expect to achieve.
How to Apply
Review the current application instructions, eligibility requirements, and deadline before submitting your proposal. Applications should clearly show how the project supports Barry County and aligns with at least one healthy community element.
