Keith & Elsie Sage Memorial Fund – Delton Fire Department

Keith Sage served 45 years as a volunteer with the Hastings Fire Department. To honor his legacy and the dedication of area volunteer firefighters, his wife, Elsie, established a trust directing that a portion of her estate be distributed to the Barry County fire departments Keith served from 1954 to 1999:

  • Hastings Fire Department
  • Thornapple Township Emergency Services (referenced in the Trust Agreement as Thornapple Township Fire Department)
  • Delton Fire Department
  • Freeport Fire Department
  • Nashville Fire Department
  • Woodland Township Fire Department

These funds provide each department with a reliable annual distribution to support equipment purchases and capital improvement planning.
