The Middleville Women’s Club was organized in 1877. The purpose of the club was to be intellectual, establish exposure to liberal culture and to collaborate for the betterment of social conditions. The club was disbanded in July, 1999. There were four life time members at the time of disbandment: Betty Robertson, Ett Van Sickel, Lois McWhinney and Alice Wieringa. Past members include: Ann Bartlett, Lucille Finkbeiner, Betty Robertson, Maureen Robinson, Alice Wieringa and Cathy Williamson. The money in the treasury at disbandment established this fund.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Student must be a graduating senior of Thornapple Kellogg Schools or graduate of Thornapple Kellogg Schools.
- Student must be accepted to an accredited college or university.
- Student must provide a letter of recommendation from a teacher.
- Student will be evaluated on essay content.
