Millicent Knox Teacher Scholarship Fund – TAEF

This scholarship was created in memory of Millicent Grace Knox during the summer of 1992.  Millie was full of joy and kindness.  After graduating from Thornapple Kellogg High School in 1991, Millie enrolled at Grand Rapids Community College where she was successfully pursuing a degree in education, with the goal of becoming an elementary school teacher.  Millie’s life was tragically taken away by a drunk driver before she could fulfill her dream of becoming a teacher.   Her family and friends have created this scholarship with hopes of providing assistance to others with the same vision and goal of pursuing a career in education.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Student must be a graduating senior of Thornapple Kellogg Schools.
  • Student must be accepted to an accredited college or university.
  • Student must have aminimum 2.5 GPA.
  • Student must demonstrate financial need.
