Dream Big. Build the Future.
The Nashville “Small Town“ Dreams Initiative is a community-driven effort dedicated to making Nashville, Michigan, an even stronger, more connected, and more vibrant place to live.
Building on the momentum of the successful Nashville Community Heart & Soul initiative, this fund was established through the Richard T. & Ethel D. Groos Memorial Fund to turn the community’s shared vision into lasting action. Rather than ending with the completion of the Heart & Soul process, the Small Town Dreams Initiative ensures that the ideas, priorities, and aspirations identified by residents continue to shape Nashville’s future.
The initiative supports projects and opportunities that reflect the collective voice of the community, strengthen local connections, and enhance the social, cultural, and economic vitality of Nashville for generations to come.
The campaign is currently in its public phase with a fundraising goal of $150,000 to support future community-led investments.
Duska Brumm serves as the liaison for the Nashville “Small Town” Dreams Initiative, working alongside residents to ensure local voices remain at the center of community planning and decision-making. By engaging people from all walks of life, the initiative fosters a shared sense of belonging while helping create a stronger future for Nashville.
