The fund shall be used in Barry County rural agricultural field for activities, projects, or programs that promote and continue the agricultural and pioneer heritage of the area.  Priority given, but not limited to, Carlton, Woodland, Castleton and Irving Township.

The fund shall be used to receive and administer funds to be used for charitable, scientific, literary and educational purposes of the Southwest Michigan Land Conservancy in Barry County.  

Grants from this fund will be used for emergency medical needs of Type 1 Diabetics, administered by the Barry County United Way.

The scholarship awards are for students pursuing a 4 year degree to a Fine Arts Program at an accredited University or College.

The fund shall be used to expose children of Barry County to the Arts.  The Arts are defined to include:  visual, music, fiber, literature and performing arts.  Exposure includes doing as well as listening or watching.  No more than 1/2 to scholarships, nor more than 1/4 for 1.
