The Bridge brings together people who want to connect, belong, and make a meaningful impact in Barry County.
We believe strong communities are built through relationships. The Bridge creates opportunities to build connections, discover local needs, support community causes, and have fun along the way — whether you’re new to Barry County or have called it home for years.

What We Do
- Connect (Events) — Social events, networking, volunteer opportunities, and gatherings throughout the year
- Give (Membership & Voting) — Each member’s annual contribution helps create a grant pool supporting projects that improve life in Barry County
- Engage (Meetings) — Members learn about local needs, review grant opportunities, and help decide where funding will make the greatest impact
- Build a Legacy — A portion of every membership is invested into The Bridge Endowment Fund, so today’s involvement keeps creating impact for generations to come

The Bridge Fund
The Bridge Fund supports The Bridge, a Barry Community Foundation program for people who want to connect, belong, and make a meaningful impact in Barry County. The fund is sustained by annual membership contributions and grows through a dedicated endowment, helping ensure this impact continues well beyond any single year.
Each program year, members engage directly with the giving process — learning about local needs, reviewing grant proposals, and voting on where funding will make the greatest difference for Barry County.
How the Fund Grows
- A portion of each membership funds this year’s community grant pool
- A portion is invested in The Bridge Endowment Fund for long-term, sustainable giving — with the exact share determined by members each year
- Gifts from individuals, families, and businesses are always welcome
