The William McGee Scholarship was set up by his son Kevin McGee to honor his father’s memory. The scholarship is a one-time $1,000 scholarship to a graduating TK senior who shows community involvement. Strong consideration will be given to those students who articulate how their community service has impacted them and others.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Student must be a graduating senior of Thornapple Kellogg Schools.
- Student must be accepted at an accredited college or university.
- Student must provide a letter of recommendation from a teacher.
- Student will be evaluated on essay content about how his/her community service has impacted them and others.
